Curious George Goes Trick-or-Treating

This is George. He is a good little monkey and always very curious. One night, he was trying to be good but he looked out the window saw the children dressed up in costumes, knocking on doors, and asking for candy. Oh what fun! George forgot all about being good and went to collect some candy of his own. Soon he became very tired but not too tired to count his loot when he got home.

A Day in the Life...

We don't have much going on except normal every day life, but sometimes, that provides the funniest photo moments anyway. Here are some every day photos we wanted to share.


Sammy has taken up a new hobby...bath acrobatics. This is his "special tricky trick."


Most of the time, these two get along great.


Katie loves to suck on anything that gets in the general vacinity of her mouth.


Gotta love those baby blues...


If Sammy stays in bed all night without waking up Mom and Dad he gets a special treat. He had about 5 licks of this one until he was done.

Kate comes home

Today Kate decided she was ready to come home. Lys is doing well and Sammy is being a very kind big brother - he even shared his Curious George with her.

Kate Marie Record was born this morning at 2:30am. She weights 7 lbs. and 11 oz. and is 19 inches long. She and mom are both doing well. Sammy is also quickly learning to be a big brother.

Sam at the Skate Park

Sam loves to skateboard. Have a look at his latest moves at the local skate park...

Sammy and the Tractor (again)

We went for a drive today and ended up at a dead end. BUT the reason there was a dead end was because of road construction - which is one of Sammy's favorite things because large tractors are involved.

I might start calling him "Mac" if he keeps going on with this tractor craze.

Sammy the Action Hero

The local grocery store is being renovated so Sammy was interested in seeing the tractors. To his surprise, the tractor driver invited Sammy to sit with him on the tractor - as you can see from the photo, Sammy wasn't sure that he liked being THAT close to the driver.



"...I'm telling ya, Bob, when you're bearing a 4 ton load of rebar you really need to pump these babies up to about 45PSI..."



At the end of January we cut Sammy's hair for the fist time. This photo explains why.



Lys took Sammy to the firestation. There must not be many fires in Menlo Park because the firemen seemed happy to entertain visitors.



Here is a snapshot of Sammy's 2nd birthday party. He even managed to blow out one of the candles on his own!
